I think I might write a book that challenges all the dumb stuff that is said about God. Like: "God works in mysterious ways". Actually, God works the way He works. Nothing about God is mysterious. He doesn't hide stuff from us. We just don't look...or don't want to. He is showing me a lot of stuff right now and it's not because He's ramped it up...it's because I'm looking! So.....look!

Challenge is a good thing. It provokes another to thought and search. I completely believe that those that seek find, simply because Jesus says so, and it's been my personal experience with life that He is faithful to His Word.
It seems the real mystery is in the unwillingness of man to recieve from Him the things He does in our lives and simply accept them, both in sight and sound for our good. One example that comes to my mind is found in John 9. In particular the conversation between the Pharisees and the once blind man...24-34 and Jesus' responce...BOTH sight and sound of the mystery of God's way.
It would be a good book.

I attended CR last night. Each week I am completely amazed how God speaks through Mark and sends the exact message I need to hear. Mark spoke about relationships. He asked us to ponder our current and past relationships. Are they satisfying, abusive, or have they left us heartbroken? He posed the question, "have you ever left yourself"? I sat in my seat, almost in tears, I noded sadly...yes, I left quite a while ago. Last night however, I decided I have been absent too long and I'm coming "home". Through that message and Jesus' love, I am not afraid to take that hard look in the mirror and regain my self worth. Thank you once again Jesus for guiding Mark in guiding this lost sheep.
